But...If they are looking for a Restful method...here are some options for you
I have developed a Restful Plugin that allows you to consume external Restful Services and utilize the data as if it was in Remedy directly. The version published at the moment supports 'getting' information and utilizing it for search purposes. A version that is complete on my workbench, but needs to be documented properly, and a few new features added also supports the complete CRUD suite allowing creation, update, and delete as well.

Another option is the Rest services offered at the below URL. This connects to a 7.x or greater Remedy server and publishes the full CRUD suite of operations allowing other people to consume Remedy in a Restful manner.
So....between my plugin, and the other service available on Communities, you can publish and consume Rest services, or, utilizing the docs on their website, utilize SOAP Web Services....
Either way, the integration is possible with a bit of work.
