Re: Renamed incoming Email Engine attachments

What OS and email protocol?

I have seen these .tmp files in the file system on Windows when using MAPI for email. I don't specifically remember if they were being uploaded to the attachments form with that name (although thinking a little more, I have a picture in my mind that there were some attachment records with this name).

I always figured it had more to do with using Outlook for MAPI than the Email Engine.

Based on the thread https://mailman.rrr.se/arslist/1103/msg00794.html  it looks like 7.5 is when I noticed the accumulation of these files in the temp dir.

Incoming attachments are sometimes stored in AR System Email Attachments with the name "AT_123123123123123123.tmp" instead of the original name and extension. Anyone else seen this?

It is a legacy system that has been under decommission for some time, so it is still at 7.6.04 SP4...
